Falluja- Two members of a family an gunman were killed on Thursday afternoon in the western Iraqi city of Falluja while police patrols found two unidentified bodies in the city, a police source said.
Diala- Unknown gunmen on Thursday attacked and killed an Iraqi army officer in Diala province, 57 km northeast of Baghdad, a police source said.
Falluja- Unknown gunman on Thursday shot dead a member of the Sunni Iraqi Islamic Party in Falluja, 45 km west of Baghdad, a police source said.
Balad- Police patrols found an unidentified woman's body in Balad town, 70 km north of Baghdad, while three people were wounded when mortar rounds were fired onto the town, a police source said on Thursday.
Diala- Security forces arrested three persons suspected of having links to al-Qaeda in Iraq Organization in Diala, 57 km northeast of Baghdad, while police forces arrested two drug dealers in the province, a police source said.
Baghdad- At least one civilian was killed and three more were wounded on Thursday when a car bomb went off in al-Bayaa district, southwestern Baghdad, a police source said.
Baghdad- A policeman was wounded on Thursday when gunmen clashed with an Iraqi police vehicle patrol in a village near al-Madaen, 37 km southeast of Baghdad, a security source said.
Tikrit- Unknown gunmen killed Chemical Ali's sister-in-law along with her daughter after they stormed their house in Tikrit on Thursday, 175 km north of Baghdad, a police source said.
Baghdad– At least six persons were killed and 15 others were injured when a booby-trapped car went off on Thursday in al-Jadriya region in southern Baghdad, a police source said.
Baghdad– Three gunmen were killed by U.S. forces in Sadr city in eastern Baghdad on Thursday while conducting a security operation targeting a network that trains gunmen for operations in Iraq, the U.S. army said.
Baghdad- Iraqi security forces killed one gunmen and arrested 217 suspected militants in several areas in Baghda during the past 24 hours under the Baghdad law-imposing plan, the Baghdad operations command said on Thursday.
